Sorry Dad!!

Today as I was making my children lunch, I realized how much I love PB&J. I had a sudden flash back to Elementary School when my Dad would make my lunch. He would make ham and cheese with mayo on white bread and in a separate zip lock bag put sliced tomatoes and lettuce. I would get so upset when I opened my brown bag in the cafeteria to discover my Dad had done it again...all I wanted was PB&J!!! So like many other kids I would trade. But as I thought a little harder (now that I'm a parent) how nice was it of my Dad to make me a really good lunch. Sliced tomatoes in a separate zip lock bag, how cool was my Dad. If I could have a Ham and Cheese Sandwich with sliced tomatoes and lettuce today, I promise you there would be no trading. Sorry Dad for not appreciating all the wonderful lunches you made.
